When the sun goes down, Marshmallow clocks in for another Ride with Marshmallow shift. His night starts after dinner, once he’s tucked his little human into bed. The second he hears the jingle of his harness, he’s all business, trotting his tiny paws to the car like a pro who knows it’s showtime.

From his padded puppy seat in the front, Marshmallow watches the Twin Cities lights flicker to life. The hum of the road, the glow of headlights, the rhythm of passing cars, it’s his version of nightlife. Some pups chase squirrels; Marshmallow chases the next head scratch, enjoying the night in the life of a Lyft pup.
The first Ride with Marshmallow trip of the evening always sets the tone. Sometimes it’s a quiet couple heading home, sometimes a group of laughing college kids off to enjoy the city. Either way, Marshmallow greets everyone with that signature wag and a look that says, “Welcome aboard, you’re in for a good ride.” Some passengers ask for photos, others can’t believe they’re sharing a Lyft with a fluffy white co-pilot.
Between rides, he naps in his front seat like a seasoned pro, perking up the second a new passenger opens the door. Every trip is another chance to make someone’s night better — a soft distraction after a long day, a reason to smile before heading home. By the time the last ride ends, the city’s quiet again. Marshmallow yawns, stretches, and leans in for one last head scratch from his human driver. The roads rest, but his tail’s still wagging — another Ride with Marshmallow complete.
Because Ride with Marshmallow isn’t just about getting from point A to B. It’s about sharing a little warmth under the streetlights, one tail wag at a time.
